Things to do in Antibes and Juan-les-Pins

Antibes and Juan-les-Pins sit on the same headland, roughly 20 to 25 minutes from Nice by train, but they feel like two different towns. Antibes has the old walls, Port Vauban, the Picasso museum in the Château Grimaldi (around EUR 8 to 10 entry) and a daily Provençal market at the covered Marché Provençal.

Juan-les-Pins, a short walk or bus ride away, has genuine sand beaches and the Jazz à Juan festival each July. Unlike Nice, where the Promenade des Anglais is pebble the whole way, Antibes and Juan-les-Pins offer some real sand, though not one continuous stretch.

The Cap d'Antibes coastal path adds a couple of hours of walking, weather and tide permitting.
